Established in 1958, the Australian Finance Conference (AFC) is Australia's national finance industry association. The AFC represents the interests and views of its members to governments across Australia at State, Territory and Commonwealth levels. It also provides a variety of other member services including legal, compliance, operational, taxation and economic matters.
AFC membership is open to companies in the business of credit, finance or financiers.
The benefits of AFC lobbying outcomes are generally related to a member companys size. Accordingly, the AFC fee scale is based on a sliding scale proportional to individual members appropriate receiveables/ net finance assets size (i.e. that which benefits from AFC lobbying).
